INEC postpones presidential election to 23rd February

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officially announced the postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for today February 16th to next Saturday February 23 2019, while State Governorship and House of Assembly elections will now hold on Saturday March 9.

The INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu read the statement earlier today.
