*The Winning Role...* - by Tejiri Teejay Chunu

I once shared my story of how I gave a Grammy Award rendition with the choir after about 8years. After the event, I walked up to the choir to acknowledge and appreciate what they do every week.

It is easier and a lazy job to stand on the side lines commenting, condemning and correcting those in the field of play. Just like how we react when watching a football match, complaining about how the player kicked or passed the ball wrongly.

It's a whole different ball game when you're in the pitch and it takes courage, skills, stamina and even more to execute your responsibility. Expectations are high as well as the pressure of numerous demands.

The best role you can play is that of a cheerleader. Cheer those who attempt anything good and of value irrespective of the outcome. They are doing what you're not. Be a source of encouragement and inspiration. Acknowledge their effort and appreciate their commitment.

One reason we lack "superheroes" in our society these days could be because we overtly criticize every thing. When you don't praise good things, you'd soon become an irritating critic. Cheer your colleagues, your staff, your family, your team mates and your role models.

Be the reason someone is encouraged to do more. The feeling of knowing there's someone who believes and supports you is a catalyst for success. *#SupportingOthers is one sure way to WinAgain.*
