EFCC Intercept N211m Gold At Lagos Airport.

Acting Head, Media and Publicity of the EFCC, Mr Tony Orilade disclosed in Abuja on Tuesday. The EFCC intercepted about 35kg of gold worth N211m  being illegally transported through the Murtala Mohammed International Airport , Lagos at the point of departure.

Mr. Orilade said the consignment was enroute Dubai, and that the suspects are in the custody of the  EFCC and corperating with the Operatives.

He stated that investigations where ongoing to catch the accomplice and perpetrators behind the illegal transporting of the Item.
