President Buhàri's Trip To Paris and how it turned out.
President Muhammadu Buhari departed Abuja on Friday for Paris, France to participate in the first edition of the Paris Peace Forum, scheduled to hold November 11-13, 2018.
Organised by the French Government and a number of Non-Governmental Organisations, the Forum is based on the “simple idea that international cooperation is key to tackling global challenges and ensuring durable peace.”
The Nigerian president was expected to join the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, and other world leaders in discussing contributions towards global peace while underscoring the imperative of collective action, as well as join other world leaders to commemorate the centenary anniversary of the Armistice signed on November 11, 1918 between the Allied Forces and Germany in the forest of Compiegne in France to end the First World War.
After which scheduled to attend a luncheon hosted by President Emmanuel Macron of France in honour of visiting heads of delegations.

Others include the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; the National Security Babagana Monguno; and the Director-General, National Intelligence Agency, Ahmed Abubakar will then have an interactive session with the Nigerian Community in France.
President Buhari informed Nigerians that he left for France to attend the Remembrance Day commemoration held at the Arc De Triomphe Hall., Villers-Bretonnex in France On November 11-13, 2018, but never showed up at the main event. The events was graced by world leaders and the Nigerian leader was not present at the Arc De Triomphe Hall and his name was not on the official list of dignitaries published and sent to the Press.
Sadly, the Nigeria government was posting pictures of Buhari in an unrelated event held in France in 2015 (Climate Change conference). The podium used in the Armistice day event exposed president Buhari’s handlers dishonesty as Buhari’s was seen in pictures with the 2015 event podium. See photos below :
This is one of the released photos of Pres. Buhari in the conference.
Below shows the difference and flaws in the photo.
He was later spotted speaking or rather taking pictures during an interactive session with the Nigerian community in Paris, on the sideline of the Paris Peace Forum.
