Super Sand Eagles denied US visas

The majority of the Super Sand Eagles application for
transit visas into the United States of America was turned down, accordng to reports.
The US embassy refused seven players of the national beach soccer team visas.
The players require transit visa to attend the Beach
Soccer World Cup in Bahamas.
The US embassy issued visas to five of the 12 Sand
Eagles players and four officials.
The five players who were given the transit visa were
Captain Olawale Isiaka, Ibenegbu Ikechukwu,
Godspower Igudia, Suleiman Ogodo and Paul Danjuma.

Abu Azeez, was also earier denied the Portuguese visa to attend the 2011 World Cup.
The Bahamas 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is
slated between April 27 and May 7 in Nassau, with Nigeria ,Japan, Ecuardo and Panama in Group D of the tournament.
